Voting for Delhi Assembly elections 2025 is going on from 7 am today. Voting will continue till 6 pm. A total of 13,766 polling stations have been set up for 70 seats in Delhi. All the three major parties BJP, AAP and Congress are in the final battle of Delhi Assembly Election 2025.
Delhi Assembly Election 2025 Voting:
Voting is going on since 7 am on all 70 seats of Delhi Assembly. Many leaders including Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, Aam Aadmi Party’s national Convener Arvind Kejriwal, BJP Leader Pravesh Verma and Kapil Mishra cast their vote. Queues of voters are seen outside all polling booths in Delhi.
The bigwigs of BJP, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party have put in their full strength. Efforts have been made to reach the voters through rallies, public meetings, street meetings, road shows, door-to-door campaigns. 13,766 polling stations have been set up in all 70 assembly constituencies, which are at different 2696 locations.
Voting in Delhi Assembly Elections Concluded at 6 pm, Election Results Will be Declared on 8th:
The voting which was going on since 7 am in Delhi elections has ended. Voting ended after 6 pm. However, all those who were in line for voting till 6 pm have been given the right to vote. They will be able to exercise their right to vote. After the voting is completed, exit polls will come out from 6:30 pm. This will tell who can form the next government in Delhi.
The phase of heavy voting is going on in the Delhi Assembly elections. A lot of enthusiasm was seen among the voters. This is the reason why 65.70 percent voting took place till 6 pm. so there are chances of increase in the voting percentage.
Exit Poll on Delhi Assembly Election 2025:
After the successfully voting completed in Delhi for Assembly election 2025. Several media outlets and agencies has released there exit poll results at 6:30 Pm today. as per the average of 3 exit poll BJP is looking in comfortable situation. where exit polls are not suggesting the return of Aam Aadmi Party & Arvid Kejriwal government in Delhi. Some exit polls also suggest that Arvind Kejriwal himself might loss his seat from New Delhi Constituency.

BJP government will be formed in Delhi- Shekhawat
Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat claimed that the BJP is forming the government in Delhi. He said that we have formed the government in Haryana, Maharashtra. I hope that we will get full majority in Delhi too. BJP’s double engine government will be formed in Delhi and AAP will be shown the way out of power.
Sanjay Singh accused BJP of getting people of Valmiki community arrested:
AAP leader Sanjay Singh alleged that people of Valmiki community are being targeted and are being arrested across Delhi. He said what problem does the BJP have with this community? I want to appeal to the people of Valmiki community to come out in large numbers and make them realize the power of their vote.
But the Delhi Police cleared the matter in one of their twitter posts by reposting Sanjay Singh’s post on Twitter/X. Against the accusation of AAP leader Sanjay Singh, Delhi Police tweeted that the one person was detained by police due to misbehavior of that person with voters in Queue. The particular person was forcefully asking the voter to come to the counter of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) before casting the votes.
Allegations of fake voting at Seelampur booth:
BJP alleges fake voting in Seelampur. Booth level officer Gayatri said that there was some difficulty for some time after the ruckus at the Aryan Public School booth. BJP workers here alleged that fake voting was taking place in burqa.
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar casts vote in Delhi elections:
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and his wife Sudesh Dhankhar reached a polling booth in Delhi to cast their vote. He said, “Voting is a great donation. It is the basis of democracy and voting is the mother of all rights. There is no right above this.
The importance of democracy is that every person casts his vote judiciously, freely for the country. This is how democracy flourishes and develops. India is an example in front of the world… where change of power or stability of power is evident only through voting. It is my wish that everyone should vote.”
President Draupadi Murmu casts her vote in Delhi Assembly elections:
President Draupadi Murmu exercised her franchise for the Delhi Assembly elections 2025 at Dr Rajendra Prasad Kendriya Vidyalaya in Rashtrapati Bhavan.
